Vulnerable Seniors

As one of the vulnerable millions mentioned in Jay Bookman column on Tom Price, I absolutely oppose Price's plan to convert Medicare to private insurance with government vouchers to help pay for premiums. That idea is doomed to failure, and will result in increased health costs that seniors will not be able to afford. I and millions of others have Medicare to thank for extending our lives and keeping us healthy in our so called golden years. Price's plan will subject us to the mercy of greedy insurance companies who have shown no regard for the wellbeing of their clients as evidenced by skyrocketing premiums to meet quarterly profit projections. I would like to remind the good doctor Price that he swore an oath to do no harm. His plan will harm and possibly kill millions.  It will only make the rich happier as dollars flow into their already stuffed wallets from the proposed Trump tax cuts that Price enables with his proposals.  I and millions of other seniors paid Medicare taxes during our working lives so that we would be insured when we retired. Price plans to steal that insurance from us  and we mustn't let that happen.
