Death on the Connector

June 24 2013

A small column inside the Metro section of the AJC  today, stated that an unknown person had been killed while attempting to cross  the connector. He had been hit by several vehicles and nobody stopped. Is this an indication of how far we have sunk in terms of human kindness? It is sad to think that it has become more important to get home or to work than check on a fellow human being after doing him bodily harm. It would appear that Atlanta's new  motto has become the "City too busy to help".
