Republican Party

As the election cycle grinds on, and Trump gaffes his way into history as the vilest candidate ever, the Republican Party is having buyers' remorse. It's too bad they don't have a recall option within their constitution to rid themselves of undeserving and unsuitable candidates. Perhaps we will see that evolve within the major parties in order to protect against the Pandora's Box the conservatives have opened. Or maybe the Republican Party will dissolve into its multiple factions. After all it is a mishmash of fiscal naysayers, racists, misogynists, xenophobes, science deniers, rabid evangelicals, libertarians, and tea party reactionaries. It's clear the republicans have run their course, with their mean spirited vitriol and obfuscations.  It's time they faded into the background so that the country can return to a true path to greatness, instead of the smoke and mirrors put forward by Trump and his supporters.
