Election season
has brought out the worst in our Georgian culture. We are repeatedly bombarded
by inane ads on TV.
The most
disturbing are those by Nathan Deal who stoops to demeaning tactics in an
attempt to mis-characterize his main opponent. His most recent ad
involving a young boy,who unwittingly has become a pawn in this game of
dismissive debasement, is contemptible. The content of that ad is a clear
reflection of the spiteful personality of the incumbent and it certainly
isn't attractive.
