Merril Matthews primer on climate change for GOP candidates
is full of inaccuracies, half-truths, and downright lies. I'm surprised that
the AJC editing staff would allow such propaganda without a proper scientific
counter argument to refute the obvious bias expressed by this resident scholar
of an ideologically driven institute.
Mr. Matthews has completely mangled or misunderstood the
data produced by thousands of well informed and knowledgeable scientists who
have clear evidence of the disastrous effects of climate change. These are the
people who know what they are talking about. I hope that the AJC undertakes a
public education program series to spell out the real dangers we face from this
human generated threat. Let's not be led astray from the reality of
climate change by people such as Mr. Matthews who have no qualifications to
make such pronouncements.
